  • Does UBELONG Shop clothing shrink?

    This question just reminded some of us pop culture gurus here at the UBELONG Shop of a certain Seinfeld episode. But anyway...

    All our shirts are pre-shrunk, and so should not shrink more than 2%, which is less than the industry standard of 8%.

    If you want them to shrink as little as possible, we recommend washing your UBELONG Shop clothing in cold water and hang-drying them. If you want your clothing to shrink a lot, then wash them in hot water and dry them in the dryer on high.

    The typical routine of washing cold and drying low should be totally OK for those used to washing their clothing in the washer and dryer.

  • Do you restock items that are sold out?

    Many of our styles are seasonal or limited editions, which means that once they sell out we won't make any more and they will not be restocked. Bummer, but hey, this is why our clothing is so unique!

    However, some of our styles are restocked, for example most items in the Classic and Garment Dyed Collections.

  • I’m having trouble placing an order. Help!

  • What kinds of payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and UBELONGShop.com Gift Cards.

    If you pay with a UBELONGShop.com Gift Card, you can pay for the balance of your purchase with a credit card or PayPal.

    We do not accept cash or checks. As much as we wish we could, we also do not accept payment in the form of cupcakes, goats or anything of the sort.

  • What shipping options do you offer?

    We offer standard shipping and expedited shipping options. Our preferred carriers are the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS and FedEx. Carrier pigeons are great, too.

    When you are checking-out we will present you with all our shipping options and the associated costs, which depends on your mailing address and how much you order, as well as the rates offered by our shipping carriers and the promotions we may run.

  • How much does shipping and handling cost?

    For orders $50 and up going to a US address, standard shipping is F-R-E-E!

  • Do you ship outside the USA?

    Yes! Sim! Oui! Ja!

    We ship worldwide via standard international shipping. Our preferred carriers are the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS and FedEx.

    Finally, shipping across borders brings additional challenges, so please consider:

    -Every country has their own laws, and there may be governmental duties and/or customs charges for receiving a product from the United States. You are fully responsible for paying these duties and/or customs charges, and we are not responsible if the product you purchase from us is being held up by customs in your destination country. Make sure to learn beforehand what your destination country's rules are.

    -It takes more time to ship across borders. Standard international postage usually takes 7 to 21 business days to travel from the United States to an international destination. With that said, there can be delays that are outside of our control, for example as they relate to customs. You are responsible for understanding what the risks of shipping internationally are and, by making an order on our site, you fully accept the risk and potential associated costs.

  • How do I know if my order was placed successfully?

    After you submit your order, you will be directed to an order confirmation page. If you've reached this page, we've received your order and are processing it with lots of good vibes :-)

    You should also receive from us an email confirmation right after your order is submitted to confirm that we received it. Sometimes spam filters intercept emails, so if you don't see the email check your spam folder.

  • Has my order shipped?

    It usually takes us about 1 to 3 business days to ship your clothing once you've placed the order. During busy times of the year, for example around the Christmas holiday, we may need up to 5 business days.

    If you have not heard received a shipping confirmation email from us after 5 business days, email us at support@ubelongshop.com and include the following:

    Order number (in subject line)
    The date you placed the order
    Your shipping address

  • What is your return policy?

    We accept unused items in their original packaging purchased exclusively from UBELONGShop.com that are received by us within 30 days of your order date. Please account for the time it takes for the carrier to ship your item(s) back to our warehouse in Charleston, South Carolina. You must return the item(s) back to us at your own cost and include a printed copy of your receipt so we can look up your order when we receive your item(s).

    By unused, we mean never washed, never worn and in the exact new condition you received the item. If we receive your item(s) and determine the item has been used, we will not issue a refund.

    Shipping and handling charges that we charged you when you made your purchase are not refundable - those are non-recoverable costs we incurred in shipping the item(s) to you. Additionally, UBELONGShop.com Gift Cards sales, as well as any item marked Final Sale, are not eligible for return.

    Your refund will be processed in your original form of payment within 15 business days of our receiving your item(s). You will be notified via email to the email you listed when you made the purchase with us.

  • What is your exchange policy?

    We can exchange unused items in their original packaging purchased exclusively from UBELONGShop.com that are received by us within 30 days of your order date. You must return the item(s) back to us at your own cost and include the packing slip we had included with your item(s) so we can look up your order.

    Before mailing back your item(s) to us, email us at support@ubelongshop.com so we can check that we have in stock the new item(s) you'd like. For example, if you ordered a small but need a medium, email us so we can confirm we have a medium in stock. If we don't, we'll work with you to find an alternative or we'll issue a refund.

    You are responsible for paying the shipping and handling cost of our sending you the new item(s), as well as any price differences that may exist between your original order and your exchange. If the value is less, we will issue you a store credit.

  • My clothing is defective. What should I do?

    If your UBELONG Shop clothing is damaged when you receive it and/or shows material or manufacturing defects, within 30 days of your order date please email us at support@ubelong.org and include the following:

    Order number (in subject line)
    A short description of the problem
    Pictures clearly showing the problem
    Your shipping address for any replacement products

    Please note that this warranty is void after 30 days from your order, and it does not apply to normal wear and tear, damage done by you, abnormal storage, alterations, repairs, improper fit nor for improper or unreasonable use. Additionally, all our products are made of natural products like cotton, hemp cord and natural dyes that may have natural imperfections, for example varying colors and imperfect patterns. This is part of the beauty and uniqueness of our clothing and there is no warranty for such natural imperfections.
